FAQ
Q: I know what you said about the not enoughness mindset, but what if I SERIOUSLY don’t think I have enough time to manage eating well?
A:
Do you have time to sit in the drive though? What about the extra hours of work that go towards paying for meals to be prepared for you? If so, then I’m sure you have the 5-15 minutes a day to spare for preparing healthy home meals. Beyond this, it only requires some shopping and prep.
I know how it feels when home cooking seems more like a waste of your quality time. I’m here to let you know, there’s more to this story than simply time.
When you begin nourishing your body with quality foods, you gain the ability to feel better and put more quality into your work - rather than more time. Your mental clarity and physical wellness enables you to accomplish more in less time.
Why overwork yourself when you can be taking little shortcuts and hacks to live your best life?
Q: What if I don’t have any experience with edible food growing or complex food preparations? Am I a lost cause?
A:
Heck no!! Grow & Grub is a simple system that eases you into the basics of establishing your own food garden. Failures WILL happen, but the progress in this course is based upon practice, experimentation, and observation. If you can handle these simple tasks, then you’re golden!
In terms of the kitchen, Grow & Grub is a framework based system oriented around intuitive meal creation and simple preparation. Eating healthy doesn’t require you making your own souffles or soups from scratch, it only involves simple preparation of whole foods.
Okay, okay, I can make the time. What if I can’t come up with enough money to eat healthy?
A:
If I don’t already sound like a broken record, eating well at home won’t be more costly, in fact, it’ll actually SAVE you money in the long run - money that could otherwise be spent pursuing your passions or simply working a little less.
When eating out, the costly service fees, overpriced add-ins, and sales tax REALLY start to add up. Eating at home is not only BETTER FOR YOU, but circumvents all these bank breakers. If you eat most your meals out, two days worth of food expenses could likely buy you an entire WEEK of groceries.
Q: What if I live in an urban apartment with no patio?
A:
Do you have a front door step begging for a potted tomato? How about some hand railing that could support a hanging mint pot? Perhaps you have a window for a basket full of lettuce!
Better yet, maybe you have a friend or family member with a patio or yard. Even if these don’t seem feasible, there’s hope! Check out local gems like community gardens, where you could privately rent or grow on shared plots!
